胡博士近年多於神學院(包括香港各神學院及菲律賓聖經神學院、墨爾本神學院等)教授宣教、職場事工、近代世界大勢、帶職/營商宣教、伊斯蘭、穆斯林宣教等科目。胡博士亦為國際洛桑大會營商宣教組智庫成員。近年，胡博士更特別推動及協助華人教會關注福音未及之穆民群體(Unengaged Muslim People Groups)及四千多萬之中國穆斯林福音需要，並出版相關書目。[福音未及(Unengaged)群體，即還未有長期宣教團隊在當中工作的群體]
胡博士的禱告及努力是能看見今日華人教會起來，承擔福音未及之穆民群體(Unengaged Muslim People Groups)及四千多萬之中國穆斯林福音需要，天國在他們當中實現。
Dr. Wuis the Sending Base Director (or called General Secretary) of Frontiers (HK), a mission organization focusing on mission to Muslims worldwide. Currently Frontiers (Int’l) has over 1400 missionaries. Besides, he also serves in the Board of the HK Association of Christian Mission, a conglomerate consisting of major mission bodies in HK.
Formerly a chartered Electronic & Computer Engineer (UK), Dr Wu also graduated from CGST, the China Graduate School of Theology. With years of experience in industrial, commercial and academia settings teaching inter-disciplinary subjects like IT (Information Technology), Education, Cognitive Psychology and Management Information Systems, Dr Wu had also provided consultancy to the HK Government on education policy in addition to his being a validation panel member of the HKAAC (HK Academic Accreditation Council). He also had visiting scholarship in several institutions/colleges in Mainland China and the States.
Dr. Wu is a frequent speaker in churches & seminaries on Missions, Islam, Marketplace Ministry, World Trend, Tentmaking/BAM (Business as Mission), etc. He is also a member of the Lausanne BAM (Business as Mission) Think Tank.
Dr. Wu is now focusing to help the Chinese churches aware of the needs of those Unengaged Muslim People Groups (i.e. those people groups yet having resident mission forces) and the over forty millions Muslims in China (rough estimate by workers in China), with related publications also produced for distribution.
